Some people don't respect the fact that wildlife is indeed wild.
I think its more to do with not knowing what pisses roos off. They don't "attack". But they will rear up and kick if they feel closed in or threatened, which is what tourists do. Locals would never get attacked.

They are similar to deer that way.
Sounds to me that they're being fed way too often by people, and as such have come to expect it now, which can change their behavioral patterns.

Majority of people are dumb when it comes to wild life...its common sense but most don't have it...
