And yes...it does include those wielded by police, as events in the US prove when an Australian woman was shot by a muslim cop.



And again with the argument about screwdrivers, tampons and clown masks all being used as murder weapons. Its a specious and evasive argument. These things are not designed or intended to kill. They are adapted, and are not very good at it compared to a device designed for one sole purpose. To kill. Guns have NO other redemptive purpose. You cannot drive them to work. You cannot cut your steak with one. You can't hammer a nail with one. It is an efficient killer. Nothing more or less.

Other research shows that there is a decrease in firearm deaths correlating with disarmament.[14][15] However, 2012 marked the highest rate of gun deaths in 35 years for Brazil 8 years after a ban to carry handguns in public went in to effect.[16]
