
I believe this may be true. They grow mandarins and tangerines in Peru I see by the sticker on the oranges from the Asian Vegetable market I go to. They are absolutely delicious. Japanese Mandarin oranges used to be my favorite. I am currently eating a Tangerine form Peru. Yum.
