With scalable capacity of a million transactions per second, in the pipeline.

This has the prospect of turning Ethereum and Bitcoin on its head.

For those who don't follow the industry, EOS was an ERC20 token (Ethereum based) before June 2 at which time a snapshot was taken of all token addresses and those who registered theirs with EOS will be receiving new tokens on EOS's own platform which just got released (EOS Mainnet).

There's also quite a number of airdrops scheduled throughout June where developers of other tokens or coins to be based on EOS will give free tokens or coins on a 1:1 and lesser ratios to those with a registered EOS address (some for holdings of 100 plus EOS and others for any amount of EOS held).

Very exciting times though still early days and bugs and issues need to be worked out.

Not so sure...  I'll hold Bitcoin holdings for the long term, hoping for eventual solid investment results.

You bought at 20k and it's languishing around 7k and under.

Kind of like buying a bulbed maglite while LED's flood the market.

With currency conversion, I'm at around 50% loss now...

Not happy with that, but as an investor all you can do is hold.  Bitcoin holdings make up about 5% of my total investments, so small risks like this are acceptable.

You will get your money back but it might take years. In the meantime, the game changers are taking root and eating up Bitcoin.

I'm sure I will eventually break even, at least.  I go long term.

When I'm ready to retire, I fucking sell everything (I own about 30 different stocks), and I will dump everything, all holdings and investments, into one stock holding that pays a solid dividend, and stop it from DRIP'ing so I can just take the dividend cash out...

THAT is my retirement plan.
