The only role that comes to mind when I think of Piper Laurie is Carrie's crazy mother.

Her young hot days were in the fifties, where she was cast with Tony Curtis, Tyrone Power and others. I saw them all, cornball as most of them were.
My favorite of her roles was as Paul Newman's alcoholic gimpy depressed G/F in the Hustler, which got her first Oscar nomination and is still a great movie (yes, black & white.)
After Carrie, she was also in David Lynch's Twin Peaks series and has continued to work but not as much.

Ann-Margret was also a trouper and a sweetheart. In 1966 she and Bob Hope did a USO tour together in SE Asia and I got to see them. She nearly collapsed toward the end of her show with heat exhaustion but after a brief rest backstage, returned to give us a finale. Give it time, changing demographics will mean the festival has no future.

Indeed, it seems to be dying rapidly even in Guangxi province. Yulin appears to be a cultural hold-out community with only local support for the festival. Still, Shen Li just begs for this kind of attention.

The Indians here can trace their roots back to Asia. They're an off-shoot of Asians, but they became dumber and lazier than Asians for some reason...
So, Native Indians and Asians have that connection in common, and with that you will always see a basic similarity between them looks-wise.
