Title: Horse Race Betting
Post by: Annie on August 24, 2013, 01:28:04 AM
I just signed up at HoresplayInteractive.com  and am learning about the exciting life of horse racing. I put 10 bucks on my account and still reading info on what to do. I talked it over with hubby and since we rarely buy scratch/lotto tickets and we never go to the casino, this should be affordable. I'm good with money and I've planned on having a spending limit of no more than 20 bucks a month.

Anyone else use online bets? Any tips? Strategies? I'm just starting to learn all the lingo  :)

My uncle took me sometimes when I was a kid to Cloverdale and Vancouver (Hastings and Fraser downs).

I just got back from the movie The Big Sleep. Lauren Bacall was quite an attractive woman.

Oh phuck, I hope my father doesn't start to take an interest in horsies. Like a typical chink, he loves his gambling.

I bet on horses. A good stallion always wins and the trick is to bet big.

Do not let it consume you because gambling very easily does that.

Like in poker... Know when to fold.

I always see Chinese people smoking outside the casino at Plaza of Nations and leaving at all hours of the night.

One of them is probably my father.

I'm still learning and haven't bet anything yet. I want to go the Hastings races, I've never ever been to a horse race LoL

You are an adult Annie, so won't tell you what to do. However, my father has a gambling habit....be careful.

We don't have a lot of money to throw around, I'm the one who takes care of the finances and balances our monthly expenses. I'm pretty good with money and gambling (not even scratch tickets) has never been a problem for me. Hubby on the other hand....

As long as you are responsible then no problem. Too many people cannot handle it though.

I do not gamble although my mother got the four extra on Lotto 6/49 several years back when she bought a ticket (1/2 million dollars). The closest I come to gambling is opening the pull tabs from safeway. I won a chocolate bar and a 12 pack of eggs. If I am somewhere like vegas, Aruba or Montana I will put a couple hundred dollars or less in to the machines.

I buy maybe 1 or 2 lotto tickets or scratch tickets a month.  I bought a $2 crossword yesterday and won 3 dollars. I'm up by a buck! :-D

Betting on horsies and playing Texas Hold´em and 5card draw.

It sometimes pays my bills.

It is more fun to go see live racing at the track. Just remember, know your limit and stay within it.

When we have time, we're hoping to go to the track but sadly I doubt it will be awhile yet.

I heard a tip from some guy when I was betting horses with my father.

I tripled my 5marks. I was a boy and that was all I had.

He wouldn´t have taken me to the race-track but there was tractors, harvesters and cars in there and I needed to see them.
