Driving truck & pony back from North Van job, I was almost hit (literally within inches) by no less than six vehicles on the highway... Time for dash cam, as the truck is always assumed to be at fault. Ask me how I know this.
Then the stress of dropping them off for required bi-annual Motor Vehicle Inspection (will the bill be $1,000? Or $5,000? Just like a slot machine, you never know!)
Then I walk back to the truck park to my car, since it's only a 20 minute walk. Have to cross an intersection. Push the pedestrian walk button. Get green light and walk signal... NOBODY is fucking yielding to me! They just keep turning! Fucking Honkies, Chinks, and Paki's alike... So I start to cross regardless, and this seems to confuse these fucking idiots...
I have the green fucking light and the god damned walk signal... You fucking YIELD to me! I'm literally in the middle of the fucking intersection losing my shit, screaming at people. I am NOT crossing on a rainy night dressed all in black. It's a sunny fucking day. USE your fucking eyes before I gouge them out.
Dude at the red light was just staring at me.
I fucking hate the city more and more. I calculated my total worth if I sold everything (minus personal vehicle, as we all need to drive)... Condo, truck & trailer, stocks, savings, etc, and came up with a conservative figure of $800,000 CDN. I WISH I could fucking retire to somewhere nice here, but although this figure may appear 'nice,' it is fuck all when one takes into account the cost of housing here. I have a ways to go yet before I can collect Canada Pension, which is a fucking pittance anyhow. I don't have a nice union or government pension coming to me, so I have to factor this in also.
It would be nice if I could meet a girl with her shit together also, so we could combine forces and make things work, instead of me doing everything solo.
I grew up in Toronto and I live in Barrie. I hate the bumper to bumper on the 400 down to the 401. I am hating it more and more the older I get.

They've come way down in price now. He buys ones that have a keyed lock, so the driver can't tamper with the evidence, so they're a bit more expensive, but most people just need a basic one...
They should come equipped with all cars now.

I used to have the same problem every time I travel south to Scarborough, lots of Chinese there but at least they're too wuss to start a road rage fight like the average Russian. But anywayz I used to always have some braindead Asian cutting in my lane and making me having to press on the brakes to avoid a collision, it's been annoying the crap out of me until I unintentionally mounted my phone on the windshield and this problem suddenly went away, it's funny how paranoid people are thinking I'm recording their reckless driving, but now I'm thinking of mounting a dummy dashcam in teh front and rear of my car to keep these idiots at bay. ac_cool

I use to drive a cab for a year. One time I picked up a Mexican, drunk as fuck, could hardly speak English. He pretty much had to point where I needed to go. We wind up on this row of apartment duplexes, he motions for me to stop, he gets out, turns the knob on the door, it wont open, he gets back in, motions for me to go forward some more, says stop, gets out, walks in that house. He then comes back out, eyes wide open, gets in the cab and says "go! wrong house" lol. That was just the beginning of a long journey with him lol. I'll fast forward to when he passes out and I cant wake him up, I tell the cab company Im pulling in there, they all come out, they cant wake him either. So all of them get on a corner, and they rock the shit out of this cab, hes chicken kneckin' all around lol, finally wakes up not knowing if hes experiencing an earthquake or if he was riding down a rocky hill lol. He gives us an address, I take him there, no such address! He was close though, and I wound up finally getting him home. He couldnt understand why the bill was so high, but I actually cut him some slack. I had to call it in, dispatcher says around $75. I said "see, THE MAN wants 75, I just want 50" and he pays up lol. Go figure the next person I pick up is another Mexican that went to the same house! lol, he was cool though.

When I get in my car...the first thing I do is lock the doors. It's not a sketch out thing but I can't tell you the times I've had people follow me to my car in a lot and try to rob me...or even just try to open my door while I'm waiting at a red light.
