Its fuckin stupid...thank God I didn't have to work today!...today is the topper and then it cools down tomorrow.  Both both ac's working overtime!

I heard this afternoon that it was 40 in eastern Washington state.  I suspected it might be anecdotal and incorrect, but I didn't check.  We don't see 40 here more than one week every five or six years, although the humidity is beastly always.

That's about right.  It's been hovering around mid to high 30's in the Okanagan.



Here in Van it's close to 35.



Not a very pleasant heat, and far too fucking hot for white people.



They have issued heat warnings, because people can die.  The problem is many older buildings in Van don't have air conditioning, and this is bad for the elderly...  A low-rent apartment building can easily go well into the 40's in this weather, and this is a problem for the weak.

This guy is from the deep South!  I dislike Wal Mart, and barely shop there, but I'll ask him the next time I'm in there, his story if he's not too busy!

Just to clarify for those not familiar with our area ...



The coast  is on average the  warmest place in Canada only during the cool season.



The Interior of BC, by far the largest area of the province, is usually much hotter than the coast in warm season,  but can be very cold during the cool season .. rivaling most of Eastern Canada

It's finally back down to White people temperatures here now, and my whiteness is thankful for this!



And for those that don't know, it CAN get really fucking hot around here!  Lytton and Lillooet, which is like a 2 1/2 hour drive from here, has recorded temps of 44.4 °C / 111.9 °F.  Stick THAT in your heat pipe and smoke it...
