I was wondering with this-- is it an attempt to propagandize for leftism? or is it a calculated move to get more money by appealing to blacks?
If its an appeal to blacks its hard to say whether enough whites will stop buying nike that they would lose on the deal. (perhaps they have some focus group data?) After all, whites are conditioned to behave non-tribally whereas blacks are conditioned to seeing everything through a tribal lens.

Over the summer they had come to an agreement that players would either stand or stay on the locker room, but they wimped out. And once again they are not going to do anything about it. So I won't be watching football again this year.
