Yang Chuan Kwang.... the first Olympic medalist from Taiwan.
A highly talented athlete, he won silver in the decayhlon against American Rafer Johnson who took gold at the 1960 Olympics.
Yang actually won more events than Jojnson, and may have been the better athlete.
But fue to the scoring system in place, he lost out on points.
Jojnson was the stronger athlete tho Yang may have been the better pne..
