....mostly my back, neck. Legs, arms and even the bottom of my feet.
I'm not sure why...if I'm overworking my body or comes with age?  Has anyone ever experienced this before?  Is there anything you did to calm them or make them go away? Anything other than pills?  I dont want pills.

				Age?

If you're getting aches now, wait til you hit 60!!!

I'm just trying to pin point the problem.  I was real sore after the move and I have been active since.  I e done some other heavy lifting.  Just wo ding if anyone else has had entire body cramps? Not all at once but an area at a time.  Just yesterday I got a cramp on my back shoulder and then in my neck right after...it was horrible!

The back of my neck is cramping right now...ugh

Eating bananas helps with cramps.  Potassium prevents them. Also drink plenty of water, dehydration can cause cramping.

				Lifting too much.
Get a massage.

Think stretching your muscle groups should help out, my dad used to have muscle pains too but started doing a hour of stretching every morning, now he says he never have problems walking up and down the stairs or working out at the gym for least a few hours. *knock on wood*  ac_umm

My husband has been working out more than usual these last six months, particularly his legs..
About two and a half weeks ago a pallet fell over at work and metal parts fell against his leg..
He feels no pain, but there is numbness when he sits too long and while sleeping.

Invite Mel over Berry and get him to give you a massage! Aslong as the fridge is stocked up with beer he should definitely turn up.  ac_biggrin

This is true.  I was going to the gym and stretching a lot before but I stopped...I always feel better when I get regular exercise.  It's time I get back to the grind!
I did take a prescription muscle relaxant  last night and it helped.  I have no cramps this morning.  But it's not something I want to rely on.

Be careful with that...the average woman over the age of 14 needs 4,700 milligrams of potassium daily...If you eat a balanced diet you should have no problem maintaining your potassium levels. A half cup of dried apricots gives you over 1,000 milligrams of potassium alone, a banana over 400... a medium baked potato over 600, 3 oz of salmon...over 300, etc.
Trying to regulate your potassium without first having a blood test to get a benchmark of you potassium levels can make the situation worse. While it is true that low potassium levels can cause muscle cramping, over loading on potassium rich foods can cause muscle cramps as well, and it doesn't take much. An overload of potassium in your system is called "hyperkalemia" and can cause extremely painfully cramping and in some very extreme cases (mostly in the elderly), it can cause or aggravate renal failure. My advice is to drink lots of water and make sure it's comming out as well (fluid retention can cause muscle cramps) and stretch as much as possible.

When you start to get old, muscles can get a little sore and cramped for no reason.  I notice this especially with my job, where I often have to sit for prolonged periods.
That's why I LOVE to stretch out every muscle and tendon in my body.  It's BEAUTIFUL when I can get some of 'em to snap, crackle & pop.  Feels so good.
I certainly do feel better after some occasional physical labour, so this alone shows me the importance of an exercise routine, which I think becomes more important as one ages...

I use to stretch and pump the iron...but I stopped...I have to get back on it again...I dont get a chance to sit around often...I'm generally always doing something...sometimes I get to sit for a bit at work.

Well I didnt puke on it! I pulled it lol.
From what I read those can effect the healing process. But whatever is going on with me was more than a tendon I think. Also whatever it is seems to be SLOWLY getting better lol. Very slowly.
