Double the Syrian refugees, double the fun.
Populations and cultures are different.
Native Indians. They get drunk and kill each other quite frequently. That is why the stats are what they are.
They also get drunk and kill themselves at a higher frequency, thus throwing the stats off too.
They also cause more crime in general, thus their representation in our prison system...
Canada tries very hard to protect the Injuns, but they are the cause of much problems here as far as stats go.
At least the US will make it clear that it's generally the Blacks that cause their problems...

Singapore has a lot commercial offenses over the net. But, rates of violent crime are among the lowest in the world.

I also believe much of Singapore's violence is incurred in domestic circumstances.

Ten murders in a city of five million people is extremely low. To put into perspective, my home base, Winnipeg, Mnaitoba has a population of 750,000. Winnipeg usually has around 25 homicides per year or about 3 murders per 100,000 people.
Canada and Australia are comparable in size and population.

Say it. Indians. Western Canada has a lot of them and the most uncivilized tribes.
But we also have an indigenous population that is disassociated from the mainstream and simmers with anger and resentment.
Violence is endemic in their communities as a result of too much booze...but murder is about the same as white communities, if not lower.

Murder and rape stats for Aboriginals in Western Canada are sky high. Prisons around here are like seventy plus per cent Aboriginal.
Natives in Eastern Canada are more civilized. That is why Eastern Canada has much lower violent crime rates than Western Canada.
