That may be changing since mr noodle decided to make another account to circumvent his restrictions.

If he posted like mr noodle did though, since they were decent posts, I could see all restrictions being lifted.

Remeber, Mel posts where he wants, when he wants, and how he wants.

A true renegade, but not really a bad guy in general.

Quote from: "Bricktop"I delight in his witty parables about urinating on his couch and executing his cat...metaphors for the tragedy inflicted on a poor and humble man.

Those weren't metaphors...

Here's the problem though...  It just seems with some occupations, certain personality traits are a part of their 'success'...

We all know this.  The 'best' musicians are often the most fucked up, etc.

The guy in the beige shirt handled the defense nicely at the end!

Argentina definitely requires a closer look.

Now, there are some "rare, exotic" places that I briefly considered also, but understand that they may not understand you.  There are still some places where people just do NOT speak even basic English, and this could present a problem for the traveler...

When I was debating where to vacation, Cairo had come to mind.  Europe (Western) did also.

St. Helena would be a trip, literally.

Argentina also came up as an interesting choice, as there's towns there that are literally German (and thus nice, clean and safe).

Myself?  Las Vegas is a good destination this time of year, as it won't be too hot.  Yes, I know Australia can get hot, but the Mohave Desert can get brutal.

It's not for everyone though...  I like to smoke and drink whenever I want, and wherever I want, and Vegas offers me this and more!

If you've never been, it's worth a trip, if you were wanting to visit the US.  Renting a car or truck will let you explore the desert and some ghost towns.

DON'T bother visiting Canada.  I'm not joking here...  We have NOTHING to offer that the US cannot do better, and our prices are higher.  That's why the US has 10 times the population that we do.

Vacationing depends on what you desire.  Understand that it's now Winter in the Northern hemisphere...

The service provider (host) can, and will, pull a forum if they determine there is a breach in the TOS.  I suppose a private entity does have this right, whether it's right or wrong.  It's the old "guilt by association" problem.

Now, nothing does stop a person from being their own host, other than time and money, of course.  In the "olden days,"  BBS boards were just like that...  One dude 'hosted' it on his Commodore 64 from home.

Things are a little different today, though, and most people simply need to pay a middle man (host) to get forum online.  Whenever you have a middle man, you are always subjected now to their own personal rules also.

Herman, you and Munday have more in common than either of you think...  To the uninformed, at times you both could be possibly considered the same poster under a different handle.
