Quote from: Lokmar on Today at 01:30:48 PMIf Chauvin dies, he will never get out and stir up shit. Just the idea that he would see the light of day makes a lot of people cringe and say he gets out, joins the KKK, dresses up as Hitler, and screams "Kill all Floyd's!!!" Fukin 100,000 billion in damages all over again!

Chauvin ain't no saint but neither was George Floyd

Anyway the Minnesota police should have learned from Canada's mistakes.A policeman put a knee to some guys neck in my city & it killed a man.

https://youtu.be/Uk6hA46GmLA?si=cDrphk2TjYl7DhWb

Chauvin did that too Floyd & it killed him as well. That's a really dangerous maneuver putting a knee to someone's neck.

You're all misogynist pigs!  How dare you judge her?!?!  I'm shaking my tampon in anger!!!

Interestingly, it was the liberal New York Times which pointed out 2-3 years ago the gender imbalance in the Governor's Office in New York state. Theres only 1 man & the rest of the staff Hochul surrounds herself with are women.

They were so determined to throw Andrew Cuomo & his ilk under the bus, but now what they have is this dysfunctional governance.

Oh well they reaped what they've sown.

Go woke & ya go broke.

Prison is an awful place.

I remember meeting a guy in Vancouver who just got out of  one of Canada's most notorious prisons.

He told me being released wad like waking up from a nightmare.

Oakalla. But its since been shut down.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 21, 2024, 08:27:43 PMAre you certain this wasn't the result of too many law abiding citizens keeping guns locked away in their closets?

To be fair to the US, there was also a shooting in Canada less than a week ago that left 3 people dead.

I notice people are going crazy everywhere. Europe had a few incidents recently too. Must be the culmination of everything. War. The economy. Post pandemic.

Actually Prof more like I thought their big mistake was calling it 'the Mad Butcher'.

Karma has a way of bitin' people in the ass.

The spirits are angry I'm afraid.

Personally that's why avoid keepin stuff around the house with negative vibes eh?

Quote from: Lokmar on June 21, 2024, 12:09:17 AMIts a helluva world where the Polocks are the fukin smart ones!!!!

I don't think Poland is doing anything wrong.

They're just interested in self-preservation.

Even Trudeau slammed the door shut on Afghan refugees.

But like Poland, he opened the welcome mat for Ukrainian refugees.

I respect the Ukrainiianns. At least they're fighting and dying for their freedom. But the USA shoved $1 trillion or more into Afghanistan, and they gave it all to the enemy to kill American and NATO soldiers.

I have no sympathy for Afghanistan nor its people.
They didn't fight hard enough for their freedom so dictatorship by Taliban is what they get. But at least Ukraine puts up a fight.

Quote from: DKG on May 30, 2024, 07:33:09 PMNationally, the Leger poll puts the Conservatives at 42% support to 23% for the Liberals and 18% for the NDP. The Conservatives lead in this poll among men and women, in every age bracket and among rural, suburban and even urban voters.

...looks like the Liberals are in bad shape.... DKG!

Oh well, serves 'em right. Even tho I usu vote Liberal, I gotta admit, they've run a real shit show this time.

Jagmeet Singh is their Rasputin like Power Broker calling all the shots.

Sad ta see, but that's why the need to get the boot - to dismantle that NDP Liberal coalition. It's been bad for the Liberal Party because they moved to far left to satsify their coaltion partner, the NDP.

I don't look forward to a 2nd coming of Trump but even the most staunch Democrat would have to grudgingly admit that like the Liberals in Canada, the last 2 years the Biden administration have bungled many key issues.

I said it 2 years ago & I thought the Democrats should have replaced Biden in 2024. His mental decline becomes more evident by the day. He is aging rapidly like an animal waiting to die. Not much left in him.

Quote from: Herman on June 20, 2024, 09:44:49 PMOld Joe aint serious about anything. He is an attention whoring troll.

Actually @Herman Herm I might not even vote for NDP Liberal or Conservative in the Canadian election either. The Liberals have been a major disappointment. However if the Tories get in I hope they can fix Trudeau's mess. Same time if there are budget cuts needed the pain should be shared by everyone not just 1 group.

The books need to brought back 8nto the black again.

Just his time is congress would be enough to earn my eternal disdain.

Fuck that guy.

If I could vote in your election, I'd be inclined to support neither Biden nor Trump.

They are both highly flawed candidates who reek of decay.
