Yep. Not interested in fighting. Hell, I'd cut my ex mother in laws fat ass down if she was at the front door if I could!!!  :evilthoughts2:

My kids and I went to Shooters World in Orlando and they watched the M4 cut a target in half at 7 yards in 3 or 4 shots. It was hilarious! I bought all the Taran Tactical upgrades for it several years ago.

The red tape here in Oz is ridiculous. Back in South Africa we could fire off our guns at Indian Mynas without the neighbours freaking out. But in Oz, trying to register at a shooter's club is a massive ordeal.

The closest I get to the hype these days is a paintball session!

I heard that owning firearms is very difficult in Australia. It's getting that way here too. Canada and Australia are huge countries with lots of wild game. Hunting is part of the culture in rural Canada. I would assume it is in Australia too.

I should have posted in this thread. I hope Erica combines the threads.

A CNN analyst aspersed the freedom of speech as "nonsense," and claimed that Vladimir Putin and Russia will be "all over Twitter" dispersing disinformation to the entire world.

Former CIA case officer and current CNN intelligence analyst Robert Baer appeared on the cable news network on Friday to discuss the opening up of Twitter by new CEO Elon Musk.

Sanchez asked Baer about his opinion regarding formerly banned accounts being reinstated.

Baer responded, "Well, Boris, I can tell you one thing, Putin will be all over Twitter if there's no regulations on this. Fake accounts, spoofed accounts, the rest of it, this is a great opportunity for him."

Without evidence, Baer added, "And so when he's talking about the popular voice, Musk, he's really talking about Russian intelligence."

"The Russians are waiting for something like this," the former CIA agent claimed.

"They need a propaganda campaign against the United States and against our support for Ukraine," he continued. "And they're going to be all over Twitter. I guarantee this. Supporting the far right, plans, demands to stop arming Ukraine. You just wait."

Baer alleged that the Russians will "put up" misinformation and it will "cascade everywhere, in India, in Europe." He said the Russian disinformation would "appeal" to the European far right and Chinese. He said that Putin and the Russians are going to weaponize Musk's new pro-free speech Twitter "as a vehicle to save himself and Ukraine."

The CNN security and intelligence analyst bizarrely asserted, "And you know, this freedom of speech is just nonsense because you can't go in a movie theater and yell 'fire.' It's against the law."

Two more conservative-leaning counties in eastern Oregon, and one politically split county in California, have voted to begin the process that could lead to secession from their respective blue states.

On Nov. 8, Oregon's Morrow County passed the Greater Idaho proposal with 60 percent of the vote and Wheeler County with 59 percent.

A similar measure in San Bernardino County, California, passed by a narrow margin, 51.3 percent to 48.7.

"These are solutions they want their elected leaders to look into," said Matt McCaw, spokesman for the Greater Idaho Movement based in Oregon.

I live in Oregon, and I used to live in Idaho.  That shit will never get through and it's annoying to see it on ballots.  If these people love Idaho so much, they're free to move.

There are splittist and secessionist movements all over North America. They never succeed.

For a person that has so much, you are thankful the simple things in life.

Thanks Seoulbro  ac_cool , the thing I like about Canada is a lot of the game changers in life are close to free.  Just water, fresh air, fast internet is a luxury in a lot of places.

The quality of water and air in Toronto is the worst in Canada. But, compared to most of the world, it's quite good.

I'm out to the jury about Michael Jackson. He was seriously fucked up but what child star in a bubble isn't?

This is undeniably true. And I'm sorry,  but there is no excuse for Michael Jackson's unusual relationships with kids. I'm not saying there was inappropriate contact, because none of us know. But I would not be too surprised if it did happen.

US stocks will slump, inflation will cool, and a recession will hit as a global downturn takes hold, top UBS strategist says.

US stocks could rally in the short term but haven't bottomed yet, Bhanu Baweja said.

The top UBS strategist sees underlying inflation cooling, and the US economy suffering a recession.

Earnings pressure, higher bond yields, and a global downturn will likely weigh on stocks, he said. I agree with this.

A recent study suggests that it is not mRNA COVID-19 vaccines that are "most likely" responsible for adverse effects such as blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks, but concerns widely expressed about the vaccines.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself

In September, the Indian journal "Biomedicine" published a so-called study by self-professed "mRNA Alchemist" and biotech engineer Raymond D. Palmer, entitled "Covid 19 vaccines and the misinterpretation of perceived side effects clarity on the safety of vaccines." The study is presently being hosted on the National Library of Medicine site, which is operated by the U.S. federal government.

And the pro and anti vaccine debate rages on.

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake said that she is planning a larger legal challenge than the one that her team filed against Maricopa County earlier this week.

"So we filed this lawsuit in court today asking the county to cough up some of the public documentation we need for our bigger lawsuit," she told Just the News Wednesday. Lake added that she has not determined what the remedy of the lawsuit would be.

"Many people are saying they want a redo of Maricopa County. I've heard people say throw it out. We have not determined what the remedy is. But I don't think you can fix what happened," she said.

Lake, a Republican backed by former President Donald Trump, criticized how the County ran the election, saying "there were three-hour lines" in part caused by problems with the tabulation equipment at polling locations, in an interview with Newsmax.

Earlier this week, Lake's team filed a lawsuit (pdf) against Maricopa County that called for the release of the country's election records.

"We have a case that we're putting together that I believe is going to be shocking," Lake, a former local television host, said of the lawsuit. "We have whistleblowers coming forward. We have inside information about how this was run, what was going on behind the scenes. What they did to our sacred vote is unforgivable."

Authorities in Maricopa County on Nov. 8 confirmed that tabulators in numerous polling locations had problems and told voters they had the option to leave their completed ballots in drop-boxes for later counting or to go to a different voting site. Later that day, those officials—Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates and County Recorder Stephen Richer—said they identified the printer problem and claimed that no voters were disenfranchised.

There were many irregularities in Arizona. Kari Lake is figting back.

"People were still able to vote, it was just a matter of maybe not voting in the way they wanted to," Gates said in a news conference on Nov. 8. "We do not believe that anyone has been disenfranchised, because no one has been turned away."

Let's have this discussion

Do you guys believe he was molesting kids?

Absolutely not.

I don't know. I agree with Herman that an adult man having children share his bed is very disturbing. But, the parents gave their permission.
