That is a valid point. Abortion was the second biggest issue among voters. The SCOTUS decision on Roe v Wade was a pyrrhic victory for pro life Republicans.

The October consumer price index report could spark big moves in the stock market on Thursday, according to JPMorgan.

The bank ran a scenario analysis and said a big miss or beat could move the S&P 500 up or down as much as 6%.

Economists expect the CPI report to show a year-over-year increase of 7.9%, a decline from September's 8.2% reading.

Following the midterm elections, investors have shifted their focus to Thursday's October consumer price index report, and it could jolt markets in a big way depending on the data, according to JPMorgan.

The bank's trading desk ran a scenario analysis of where it expects the S&P 500 to trade depending on the CPI report. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg expect it to show a year-over-year headline inflation increase of 7.9%, which would be a decline from September's 8.2% reading.

Things would get dicey quick if October's CPI report comes in above expectations, with the bank expecting a 30% chance that headline CPI prints 8.1% to 8.3%. The S&P 500 could fall between 2% and 3% if that scenario plays out tomorrow.

The least likely scenario happening, according to JPMorgan, is a huge beat or miss in the October CPI report. At a 5% chance of happening on each side of the spectrum, the bank expects the S&P 500 to soar or crash as much as 6% if October's CPI print is below 7.6% or above 8.4%, respectively.

NSW, Australia has begun testing mRNA injections on cattle for bovine diseases.

These motherfuckers have decided that if we won't concede, they'll just poison our food chain.

Fuck that, fuck them, and fuck anybody who tries to argue otherwise.

They wouldn't be using the same vaccines that were mandated on global populations. When they were being developed they said mRNA could be modified for other diseases.

Murdering babies is sacred to liberals.

But, some states wanted a total abortion ban. Abortion and the Trump witch hunt are all the Dems have. They will no longer get away with having no ideas now that DeSantis is the clear leader of the party.

Exactly. Time to fall back and shut up.

Imo, this needed to happen. DeSantis needs to be the focus now.

This could be a blessing in disguise.

Sorry  Deport and all the Trump MAGAs, but this man sux ballz :/   I caught a brief clip of him on the news at a rally and what a cringeworthy mf'r!  I seriously rolled my eyes and turned off my TV.  He is so full of himself and is nothing but a bullshitting buffoon!

I'm in agreement with Herman and Oerdin in saying that if he runs in 2024, he will lose again.  I'm pretty much middle of the road politically and it took everything I had to vote for him last time and after I did, I wasn't happy about it :/  Sadly, his policies aren't enough to make this dude electable. :/

BLAH..  That's my political talk for the month :)  lol

You are spot on.Trump revitalized a once decaying Dem-lite party. But, now he is a liability. Particularly so with a new clear leader of the party. It is time for Trump to step aside.

The only thing standing in the way of a DeSantis presidential win in 24 is Donald Trump.

The markets may have a negative reaction to this. It's no surprise the Senate results could take another month. But, we thought there would be a clear result in the House today.

The Justice Department's inspector general is investigating Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins over a possible Hatch Act violation as well as for allegedly using a personal cell phone to conduct official business. According to the AP, this will be the second investigation into potential wrongdoing by the Democrat attorney since she took the role less than a year ago.

Rollins' fate, pending the inspector general's conclusions, will be decided by the individual who nominated her, President Joe Biden. If found to be in violation of the Hatch Act, Rollins can be removed from federal employment.

Rollins, a high-ranking federal law enforcement official, was confirmed in December 2021 with the help of a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris. Since gaining the top federal prosecutor position in Massachusetts, Rollins hasn't been a stranger to the Biden family.

Rollins, who was a controversial pick for her opposition to prosecuting certain types of criminals, appeared at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser with first lady Jill Biden in Andover, Massachusetts, on July 7.

Twitter reactions to King's plea were quite humorous:

"Does @JohnKingCNN give seminars in self-awareness?" conservative podcaster Ron Coleman asked.

"I trust CNN about as much as the CDC," one commenter stated.

"I trust gas station sushi more than I trust CNN, John King, and local officials," another user revealed.

"The network that's hemorrhaging viewers and can't afford to keep their staff due to lack of credibility wants us to trust ... their election coverage," another commenter observed. "Right. Next I'll be asking David Depape to fix my door locks."

"I'd rather trust a vasectomy performed on a trampoline," another user quipped.

"They do comedy now," another commenter noticed.

"Trust the organization that gave us Lemon and Acosta?" another user wondered.

"Yeah I'd trust Casey Anthony babysitting my two yr old nephew over trusting CNN," another commenter declared.
