A Willie Wagtail down on Swan River foreshore. I won't sign it or downsize it as I get lossy but this sweet little bird was following my feet. Apparently they do that as walking over the grassy area disturbs insects.

Quote from: "Bricktop"Different strokes...personally, I recommend you practice using A and M modes on your camera with different exposure measuring modes.

But that's just me.

Oh Christ... that means I have to go look up the manual and see what A and M modes mean and THEN I have to RETAIN that info in my aging brain.

oh what joy!~

Quote from: "Bricktop"I'm afraid Caskur is far too immersed in Flameworld. Sad really.

You won't see me in storm season... I have to kill time between now and then...

cut me some slack.

Because if they lose the line, they're buggered.

You try and take your tanks off with one hand on the line... as well as moving a kid under you bumping your bobble head on rocks.

I don't think you've gotten enough information by the sounds of it... and those pockets the idiot Fin was yakking on about were oxygen depleted...

I want his name...

You know so many details of the rescue caskur.

Well it's our part of the world... we get to Asia within hours so our media are right there PLUS the two Aussie doctors were the key to success of getting them out. They were called in especially for the project.

Why can't you all be tough and brave like me and keep your original handles?

Pissants!~

I've heard of you, but never met you til you joined here lol.

I've had the same name since 2006

Yeah, they use my name, especially ones I whooped into submission.

But really I'm a very nice person unprovoked..  :43(2):

Being nice is usually not a positive thing on flame forums.

Silent Prowler was nice to everyone... except Amazing Sting.

Who are they?

Silent Prowler owned a site called TDT.Coalition... Amazing Sting used to have MSN groups. Silent Prowler was an educated man, Sting is more like an average Joe Blow with a young family...

That's as diplomatic as I can be.

LOL... those divers had to remove their tanks to squash through spaces along that track... one space, was 38 cm high...

Did that stupid Fin "who doesn't want to be a hero" pull any of the boys PLUS another grown man through the 38 centimeter gap of mud with ZERO visibility?

Give me that Fin's name and I'll ring him up and chew off his wingnut ear.

anyway, you might be in luck and see the whole special... It's on fb too. Not sure about yours or our copyright boundaries but if you're relying your info on some dingbat Fin, leave me out of it. I'll take the word from the mouths that maneuvered the young bodies through treacherous spaces going against strong tied and cold muddy water.

That was close.

We had coverage 24/7 on the event.... But things were clarified and cleared up in the Four Corners special, (and excellent piece of 56 minutes of TV)... I thought about filming some of it and posting it on my YT channel for our North American friends but I'm running out of space on my PC. There are no transcripts either which is annoying. If Bricktop watches it, he might write up some interesting facts of the event.

What that collective group did was miraculous and should never be diminished or understated in any way.

That was an historical event.

He's an idiot then... the fact that one experienced navy seal person died during the rescue course, proves it wasn't a safe journey.

I watched the documentary on the guys on ground zero and the words that came out of THEIR mouths.

One knock of those face masks on those kids meant instant death. The actual guys carrying them through the narrow passages could not even see the gap through the mud... those diving rescuers were bumping their heads on rocks the whole way.

Those divers got those kids out.... they thought they were going to be dead... they thought they'd lose 30-50% of them during the journey out.

One little bump of their full face masks and the boys would drown.... That is how worried they were. One tiny mistake and it was all over red rover!~
