I haven't checked in here in the last couple of months, so I'm just seeing this now. I am deeply saddened to discover that Peaches has passed on. I always got along with him even though our politics rarely aligned. He was a real gentleman and we could agree to disagree and let it go at that. I knew him better on another short lived forum where we would occasionally talk firearms. He was a fan of the now defunct Firestar single action semi-autos and to my knowledge carried he one as his CCW of choice. We disagreed on the active condition in which he carried it but that's a matter of personal comfort.

He was also a Vietnam vet like my father and many of the things he said about events during the war, my dad would have agreed with 100%. One observation in particular always strikes me as a matter of some amusement and horror at the same time. It was about the Viet Cong using elephants as a means to move equipment and how the US air cav would intercept the the columns of elephants and shoot them with full auto, helicopter mounted guns. Peaches said and I quote.. "man those things could soak up a lot of ball". I'm not sure how many of you to understand that statement but trust me, the visual is horrifying.

Well enough of that... RIP friend and my condolences to his family and all who knew him in RL as well as the forum world. He will be missed.

Peaches agreed on nothing. However, I would take him anyday over the retarded old white nincompoops on the tranny forum.

ac_umm "Tranny forum"? I'm sorry I'm a bit out of the loop. Nowadays that could mean any liberal leaning forum on the net.... :laugh3:

You know, I would like to thank for helping me save the planet... I did the math and I'm saving an assload on gas having you pull me around in that rickshaw. All I need to do is throw some Chinese solar panels on my roof and I'll be greener than AOC.

The loony anti-hunting morons come out to play every hunting season. Every year dozens of them get arrested for harrassing legal hunters... They have been doing it for decades. They are usually white, hygienically challenged, perpetually outraged, coddled, urban, neck beards and their homely blue haired, facially pierced girlfriends named Adison or Emily.

You lick my arse right now!

How about I just shove my fist up your asshole?

Would you like that better? Hold on while I take off my watch.

These baby-killers are calling the killing of animals a "holocaust".

 :laugh3:

They care more about animals than they do of human babies because the animal thing enables them to harass other people.

I saw a video of some white libtard comparing deer hunting to a holocaust.

That's your prerogative. It depends entirely how and when they were field dressed. Wild game can have blood in the meat. That's what gives it that so-called gamey taste that some people complain about. Brining for 12 to 14 hrs helps get rid of it. Plus wild bird such as Pheasant or grouse has almost no fat. Soaking it in liquid helps keep it moist... Also venison should be brined as well.

Brining venison? No fucking way, mang!

What a travesty!

A travesty??? This coming from a guy that posted a pic of some green bean, cracker, vomit casserole and called it food... :laugh3:

I'm going to assume you're probably used to farm raised venison since shooting wild animals and gun ownership down under is heavily regulated. Farm or ranch raised venison is a different kettle of fish. Like any other game animal, farm raised deer tastes different than wild harvested deer.. You know the age and condition of the meat before it's slaughtered and processed like any other "grown" meat product. You're generally not that lucky in the field.

How many deer have you taken wild and dressed and processed personally?

You should really do the same with any wild upland game. The salt water brine breaks down the blood clots that can form after the animal has been riddled with birdshot. Wild cotton tails, grouse, pheasant, woodcock all get a 24hr brine bath.

I didn't use brine on the ruffed grouse we were given.

If that were actually the case then Shen would probably keep a Japanese Macaque as a house boy.

Renee... You know that bird never make nest in bare tree.

Hares aren't actually rabbits..

I was told hares are edible only for coyotes.

Hares are edible but they need to be soaked in brine solution overnight or longer.... like a bucket of brine and fully submerged. My mate has them all over his property and swears by the brining treatment.

In certain states, the "blue" states, late term abortion is still legal.

About 17 states had "trigger laws" on the books so as soon as Roe was overturned, at least 6 of those 17 states banned abortion. But at this time no one really knows what the outcome will be with exact certainty. In the rest of the 17 states abortion is in legal limbo. It appears that most of the "trigger" law states will ultimately craft some kind of "heartbeat" law and limit abortion on demand to 15 or 16 weeks gestation.

Could you explain trigger laws Renee?

Trigger laws are reactive laws. They are uninforcable laws that are put on the books, just in case a particular law or circumstance should change. If that particular law or circumstance changes then the so called "trigger law" goes into effect.  Many times they are used by a state or municipality as a "cover your ass" kind of thing but in the case of Roe v Wade they are ideologically driven.

I can't argue with that.

You know in Canada and here in the states....male rapists and murderers can now claim they identify as women and be sent to female prison?  And women are being raped. Forced to share cells with these violent men.

And the left is completely ignoring it.

They're not ignoring it. They're promoting and encouraging it. The left in this country has gone off it's rails and is now controlled by the radical social element that was once relegated to the shadows on the peripheral edges of the democrat party.

It's all part of the far left's vision of a progressive dystopia and to use the words of the liberal Godhead Obama....to "fundamentally transform" America. When that son of a bitch used that phrase, far too many people didn't take note of or completely ignored it's more sinister qualities and now we are paying the price.

That is why most civilized countries in Europe and the Americas limit abortion on demand to 15 or 16 weeks gestation. Abortion on demand beyond the 15 week cutoff is monstrous. It's an abomination in the eyes of any moral or ethical individual. But liberal radicals have proven themselves to be anything but moral or ethical or even smart, time and time again. So no one should be surprised by the out pouring of histrionic tears and nashing of teeth on the left over being told that you have no constitutional right to kill babies.

Nothing has changed though, at least federally in the States. Late term abortions are still legal?

It's because people who push for things like partial birth abortion or gender reassignment for children will never be satisfied. You cannot compromise or negotiate with zealots and radicals.

They have built their entire personalities around these issues... And they are lost without them.

I can almost understand abortion at the very early stages of pregnancy... But this is nazi stuff.

There is a point of no return... Its just plain homicide after that no matter what the law says and what you call it.

Feels like something is stretching my muscles.

Shaking, sore throat, mild headache.

Fashie.

May I come sit on your lap while tucked in a warm blankit?

I'll make you chicken soup.
