Bed Bath & Beyond CFO Gustavo Arnal, 52, jumped to his death from the 18th floor of the 'Jenga Building' in New York City.



Last Wednesday Bed Bath & Beyond announced it will be closing 150 stores as it struggles to restructure its business. The retailer also announced it would be laying off 20% of its workforce.



The police did not provide further details on the circumstances leading to Arnal's death and said the New York City Medical Examiner's Office would determine the cause of death. Bed Bath & Beyond confirmed his death in a press statement on Sunday but gave no details.

I remember going to a private school with over 2/3 of the students are Jewish, as long as it's a Jewish city, bling and wealth seems like the norm.  ac_cool

That is true in Canada, but not in Israel. Most Israelis don't have the bling.

How did you get Israeli citizenship? Did one of your parents marry an Israeli?

I was born in the Soviet Union. It had ethnicity on passports. Even though my mother never had a bat mitzvah or her mother either, the state said we were Jews. That was all my family needed to immigrate to Israel. I celebrate Orthodox Christmas and I eat pork.
