Hope I didnt miss Fuhrer Friday  ac_dance

He was a good man, with good intentions...  His country, and his volk.

Ya, ya, the Jews...  The were given every opportunity to leave while things were still peaceful.  Some chose not to...

The LAST chance the White race had to succeed, ended with him, in 1945.

Blazor, you're one of the few Americans that seem to realize this, since most Americans are hardcore in their beliefs that Hitler bad, and everything else good.

I dunno.  I didn't believe in the difference between solid state amps and tube amps at first until a buddy of mine who plays a lot of electric guitar proved it to me. I don't play a lot of electric, but I've played on both solid and tube, and there is a difference, even with the same guitar and all the knobs set up the same.

That's my problem with electric guitar.  I spend more time fiddling with all the knobs than playing the strings.

This is why I included amplification as a potential advantage for music, but only in limited scenarios, such as electric guitars.

When driven hard, they overload and produce a sound that cannot be matched by any digital means.  When driven easy, they also produce variables.

It's like the scratching on a 45 record.  Purists demand that experience.

CD quality has been proven to be at the limit of what the human ear can detect, with regards to differences.

Tubes and vinyl records introduce, naturally, differences in that sound.

The Flea Trap / No more ethanol free gas in BC...
July 21, 2023, 06:05:33 PM
Up until now, you could easily find high octane gas here that was ethanol free.  Not any more.  Government is forcing all grades to contain ethanol now.

I liked to run the ethanol free stuff in my outdoor power equipment.  Oh well, it is what it is...

So you've gotten a temporary reprieve from crumbling like chalk eventually?

Nobody knows.

Some gun owners want the promised buyback scheme to materialize, so they can get some money for their guns and buy something that they can legally shoot.

But, after three years, nothing has materialized.  I don't think Canada has the money to implement a buyback (we went woke, so we're broke), and going door-to-door asking about firearms isn't something they want to contemplate.

No other gun ban has ever functioned in this manner.  And come October, they'll simply just extend the amnesty once again.

So where did all the firearms deemed now or then illegal go afterwards? They simply didn't just vanish into thin air. Canadians enjoyed relatively unfettered access to all manner of firearms... now they don't.

Where did they all go, Lassie? Down the well with Timmy?

They are in our homes, waiting for an outcome of a now three year long "ban"...

Timmy.

Except Canadians, Australians, and UK residents.

They crumbled like chalk...

You should educate yourself before speaking.  Nothing has been turned in, in this country.  And most likely nothing will ever be turned in.

I wonder what the long term game plan is if the Liberals even have one. Is it two million immigrants per year and population of one hundred million? The rapid increase in population would make net zero a fantasy if it wasn't already a fantasy.

Last year was 1.2 million, this year we're gearing up for 1.5.  (Literally double the pop of Vancouver proper, every single year).

They are certainly aiming for the Century Initiative, which is 100 million by 2100.

And it's not just the Liberals...  ALL Canadian political parties are on board with this goal, sans the PPC.

We are a Ponzi Scheme joke nation now, which is too bad...  since we had most of the advantages of the US, without many of their problems.  And we're letting it all slip away.

At this rate, we'll be the first to fall.

Highest immigration levels of any G7 nation.

If people are so blind that they cannot see the cracks forming from this insane experiment, they get what they fucking deserve when it collapses.

Yep.  So for instance, Ford would've had to pay a higher penalty on this 5.0 shorty, than they would had it been the typical SuperCrew version you'll likely see on the dealers lot.

Which as Thiel stated, just gets passed down to me in the end, the customer.

Bet your ass though that plenty of Kiwi's still have AR rifles stowed away in case they need to mass murder their leaders.

Kiwi's had similar regs as we did, in that most of those 'AR Style' rifles didn't require registration, so like us, their government doesn't really know who owns what, and that's a good thing.
#13
Our government really didn't think this through.  The new gun ban was implemented in May 2020, if you can believe that.  And here we are over three years later, still stuck in limbo.  There's been no buy-back scheme initiated, nothing.  They just keep extending the amnesty period.

And all John can do with his Mini-14 is handle it in his living room.

I guess I'd have to read it again but I thought that applied to any gun on the restricted list?

Handguns are generally in the restricted class here (although there are prohibited handgun owners here too that have been Grandfathered in and can still shoot those handguns also).

The "AR style" ban actually prohibited these AR Style rifles, but with those there is no provision to use them, even at the range.  They literally cannot leave your house.

But, for these newly prohibited rifles, there is an amnesty period (currently until Oct. 2023, but it'll probably be extended, again) where simply possessing them won't lead to criminal charges, so you should be safe to throw it in your trunk trigger locked and in a locked case, and not have any problems if you're moving, which is the transport requirement for restricted/prohibited.

Fuck, you already have to apply for a permit to transfer a gun from place to place, it has to be within a reasonable path (whatever they decide that means) to the destination, and the gun has to then be locked up and unloaded.

That's just for handguns.  Basically they just want you to be traveling back and forth to gun ranges with it, and if you're moving you get an authorization to transport so if you're caught with a handgun in some weird place, you have a reason to possess it due to moving to new house.
