My tactic now is to encourage them to remain stupid. Telling them not to change their tactics or learn anything, in any way, so that we stomp them again in '26 and '28.

They should panic. Any scheme established by a President Biden can be dissolved by a President Trump, as they operate within the same limits on Executive powers. There's no way for Biden to do anything Trump can't undo except by exceeding those powers, and the overreach would be nullified.

I'm not sure I entirely blame pollsters for that. In a social atmosphere where open Trump support was causing people to lose relationships and/or inciting attacks (verbal and otherwise), it's unsurprising that a lot of people either simply declined to answer or outright lied about it.

With that said, it's also highly probable that some pollsters had their thumb on the scales in hopes that the perception of Harris being ahead would sway voters.

Outlier polls like that are inconsequential at best, flagrant attempts at vote-sculpting at worst.
