Quote from: "cc la femme"I heard it had taken of ... so I guess the landing wasn't quite the perfection they had hoped for?

For some strange reason the camera stopped working just before it landed. The CEO said it came down hard and he didn't expect it to work this time, but next time there's a good chance.

That's code for: "Oh fuck! It crashed again! We're screwed! Help us, please. Someone!!!"

Well that's just it. You can't even get one. I mean, it's not like it's a missile guidance system or something. It's just a powered speaker ffs. How stupid.   :001_rolleyes:

Quote from: "RW"Do these work on anyone?

Isn't it usually the elderly who are victims of this?

Usually. Most people just hang up. I'm a bit of a jerk though. =P

I have never received one of those calls.

I get them all the time. Not too long ago I had one that went something like this:

caller: Hello, I'm from the security division of Microsoft.

me: Oh, I have a virus?

caller: Um, yes.

me: And what do I need to download?

Quote from: "RW"I'm surprised no one shot it.

Would you want to be the cop who killed the unicorn?

Quote from: "Mr Crowley"It is Renee's fault.

And every other American that supports gun ownership and believes that private citizens owning firearms benefits the community.

They have painted the US into a corner it can never escape from.

Well in a perfect world no one would need to own a gun because there'd be no criminals. Speaking of perfect worlds...  ac_unsure
