Adolf Oliver Bush, how do you figure the U.S. is at war with Russia much less that it is losing a war to Russia? This is pretty much the same as when the U.S. supplied arms to Afghanistan to bleed the Soviets dry. Putin originally thought he would conquer all of Ukraine in three days, he had his troops pack parade uniforms but not extra gas or rations, and now it is 17 months later and he has been retreating ever since. Worse, the Russian economy is in extremely bad shape such that even the extraordinary measures aren't working any more. The clock is very much ticking for both Putin and Russia.

Their (Russia) economy must have been in dire straights before the pigmy decided to take prosperous Ukraine. Now they are even more worse off.

Australia is sending all these vehicles that transport soldiers safely... I can't think what they are called....

The Australian government has announced a new $110m assistance package as the next round of support for Ukraine, including military vehicles, ammunition and humanitarian funding.

The government also said the upheaval in Russia over the weekend – in which the head of the Wagner mercenary group attempted an armed revolt – was a sign of division and called into question the invasion of Ukraine.

The package of support for Ukraine unveiled on Monday includes $100m in military assistance and $10m for humanitarian aid.

"This package responds to Ukraine's requests for vehicles and ammunition, and will make a tangible difference on the battlefield," the prime minister, Anthony Albanese, said.

What greatly ticks me off is we can send 100 million bucks to the Ukraine but our own homeless get pissed on... people are homeless in Australia from a lack of public housing... I am not talking about professional homeless people, I am talking about regular people with children.

They are wheeled armored vehicles. I have seen pictures also, yes, their economy was in terminal decline just like their demographics so Putin and Co wanted to annex Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and Kazakhstan to prop themselves up and give themselves more time as a civilization to exist. That doesn't seem to have worked so far. Peter Zeihan went into the geographical problem Russia is desperately trying to solve, how they see it as an existential threat to their very survival, and how this inevitably means they will go to war with NATO.

We need to tie them down in Ukraine and make sure they lose or there WILL be a WW2 and the Russians will use nukes because they know they can't win. So they will have to fight dirty. The longer the Ukraine war goes on or if the Russians are defeated then that puts off that nuclear 2ar.

What the US is engaged in is the very definition of war, specifically a proxy war aimed at eliminating (or at the very least severely weakening) a foreign state. It is funding said state's military endeavours and has made it abundantly clear that the war shall continue until such time as the US gets its man. Even should it bankrupt the US, which to judge from the debt clock is long overdue.

That covers the first half of your question. The second should be even more obvious. You and I were both promised that this feat would take a few weeks to accomplish... over a year ago. Sanctions haven't worked, blowing up their energy pipelines into Germany hasn't worked, sending a ton of armaments to warehouses only to have them blown up unfired hasn't worked. Money is flowing out of western nations at unprecedented rates, meanwhile your man is inking deals with the Chinese, India, Brasil et al, including the return to the gold backed standard in the form of BRICS - shit, even your oil buddies the Saudis are looking to do deals with them. And your average Russian citizen is firing up the webcam for livestreams of them heating their houses on dirt cheap fossil fuels while you're forced to pay five bucks a gallon to fill your bourgemobiles. It wasn't so long ago that you could get it for under a dollar... these cunts are getting it for the equivalent of spare change. Funding Putin's political opponents yielded the most embarrassing loss so far; the Wagner group took your 4 billion and fucked off to Belarus, a virtual stones throw from Kyiv.

You are at war and you are losing. With all the resources at the disposal of the US and her allies, you find yourself in a proxy war and completely incapable of ending it, not that your leaders have shown any tangible desire to end it if Boris Johnson and Joe Biden's continued efforts at scuttling peace talks is any guide.

He may have thought it, but I never heard him say it. Though you're not the first to profess clairvoyance into what was running through his head, I'll admit. Can't say as I blame him either, because I've met the single greatest threat to world peace... it's US.
