Officers from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol have arrested more than 800 illegal immigrants, including violent criminals, in Illinois, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in an Oct. 1 statement.

The arrests were made as part of Operation Midway Blitz, launched by DHS on Sept. 8, that targets criminal illegal immigrants who come to Chicago and Illinois "seeking protection under the sanctuary policies of Governor Pritzker," said the agency.

In states practicing sanctuary policies, local officials refuse to enforce immigration law and do not comply with federal immigration authorities. On Aug. 5, the Department of Justice released an updated list of 12 states and 18 local jurisdictions deemed to follow such sanctuary policies. The list included Illinois and Chicago.

Gen Z doesn't read policy briefs. They swipe, scroll, and repost — and the vice president is smart enough to play along.

For the first time in years, the Republican Party has momentum with America's youth.

Figures like Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and even Alex Jones command more attention from Gen Z than most senators ever could. Ask a teenager about Mike Johnson or Ron Johnson and you'll likely get a blank stare. Ask them about Charlie Kirk, and they can quote his videos word-for-word. Kirk was not only a cultural giant but also the leader of a network of influencers who connected conservatives with a rising generation.

Facing criticism from all sides, France's new prime minister Sébastien Lecornu resigned less than 24 hours after naming his government and after less than a month in office, plunging the country into a deep political crisis.

The French presidency said in a statement Monday that President Emmanuel Macron has accepted his resignation. Lecornu had replaced his predecessor François Bayrou to become France's fourth prime minister in barely a year.

Macron's opponents immediately tried to capitalize on the shocking resignation, with the National Rally calling on him to either call for new snap elections or resign.

"This raises a question for the President of the Republic: can he continue to resist the legislature dissolution? We have reached the end of the road," National Rally leader Marine Le Pen said. "There is no other solution. The only wise course of action in these circumstances is to return to the polls."

Macron is a globalist traitor to his country. Just like Carney.

In Pennsylvania, the Citizens Alliance team executed the largest Republican ballot-chasing program in the country, knocking on more than 510,000 doors in 2024. The public goal was for Donald Trump to capture 33% of the mail-in vote. He earned 34.5% — and with it, Pennsylvania's 19 electoral votes. That effort helped re-elect Trump as president.

Now they are bringing that same fight to New Jersey.

With mail-in ballots already hitting mailboxes in the governor's race, the "New Jersey Chase" has officially begun. The mission is simple: flip New Jersey red.

The Trump administration is deploying 400 troops from the Texas National Guard to Chicago amid escalating violence over Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the city. The move comes on the heels of an attack on ICE officers, allegedly by left-wing activists, and weeks of rolling protests and riots around ICE detention facilities in and around the city.

A Virginia prosecutor has indicated that she may decline to charge New York Attorney General Letitia James in connection with alleged mortgage fraud.

Norfolk prosecutor Elizabeth Yusi told co-workers that she did not believe there was probable cause to prosecute James, according to two sources who spoke to MSNBC.

The report said that Yusi will present her recommendation to interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan in the coming weeks. The sources said that prosecutors are bracing themselves for the likelihood that Yusi will be fired by Halligan for refusing to prosecute.

President Trump secured $200B from tariffs to keep the Women & Children's Food Program funded during the shutdown.

TRUMP: "More than $200 billion coming into the coffers from tariffs... the women and children food program will NOT be cut off while the government is shut down. Some of the money will go to make sure that the program is kept UP and RUNNING," said WH Press Sec. Karoline Leavitt.
No cuts. No excuses. Taking care of families first.
