It did go by quickly, but was still nice to have some down time.

In less than a month you'll have some more time off..

How much time do you get off for Christmas and New Year?

My last work day is December 14 and I return to work January 3,

Thanks for reminding me

"Usually" we get a half day off on Christmas Eve after being fed, but since it falls on a Monday, its hard to say. We'll have off Christmas at least. If I had to guess, we'll be off Saturday through Tuesday. I think New Year is permanent off time.

I forgot about that Blazor..

Are you going to take that other job which is a little closer to home?

I know it's  not your ideal job, but if you decide to take it, you can still keep looking for other opportunities.

And thats really one of the things I keep thinking.

I have decided to stick it out til this job closes though, seem them through to the end. They would be screwed if I left now. Also I still get my holiday pay.

Will the other job offer still be available at that time?

The guy told me to take as long as I needed, that he wasnt advertising the job, and understood the situation at the other place, but I need to give him a decision on what I want to do, THAT I need to do ASAP.

Are you going to say yes, and then stay at your current employer until the end?

Quote from: "Zetsu"Yep, hope ya guys have a awesome time, though a bit off topic but the world would really suck without the Yanks, seriously.

I've nothing against the Yanks & I wish them well.

And yet I don't love them either.

Its not my country right or wrong.

America excels at some things but not in others.

I'd be just as happy or happier following another country than the United States.

I dont feel passionate about the US.

So does that make me anti-American?

I guess if yer a fan/supporter of the US, its all or nothing, eh.

Joe, as one of America's fondest supporters and fans, I feel your pain. As you know, America is the epitome of a modern, effectively and efficiently governed 21st century nation, and a model for us all to build on as we strive to reach their high and lofty standards.

Free of corruption and political self interest, America provides it's citizens the very best in health care, education and public safety.

Its open approach to politics even provides the opportunity for actors, wrestlers, movie stars and singers to gain high office and thus bestow upon it's citizens the benefit of their years of adulation and worship from the masses.

And of course, every American citizen is permitted...nay, expected to own a firearm. The more dangerous and lethal the better. This requirement is, of course, to enable to defend themselves from other Americans that own dangerous and lethal firearms. Its a perfect system of demand and supply which in turn funds politicians so they can stay in office. No other nation has such a unique method of governance.

America has also solved the looming overpopulation crisis confronting the world, both with the abovementioned gun policy, and also by feeding its inhabitants with cheap, fatty foods so they achieve a level of morbid obesity that will cause early death and population decline.

Yes, you will ask, who then will harvest the fields, build the cars and drive the cabs?

Easy. Thousands of Guatemalans. They're arriving even as we speak.

God bless America.
