You still mad about the government switching to metric system?

Nasa uses metric.

The fuck are you dribbling about?

We've been metric since the early 70's.

I seem to remember an incident where you made a case about stating something in imperial units.

Now that I googled it.. A lot of australians think in imperial units even though the official system is metric.

The older amongst us still think and say in both.

I like the old system of imperial units better.

Except for very small measures like mechanical uses (size of screws/bolts) metric is somewhat difficult to understand and at times impractical. Ie 1 in equals 25.4 mm or 2.54 cm. Like wtf?!

It seems very abstact and difficult to understand that system measurement

I believe it's down to thinking in both scales without converting too much. A kilometre is a K and a mile is a mile. If I was driving a classic car, I wouldn't go beyond 63 mph in a 100 kph zone. Don't know how I actually know that. Just is.
Blahhhhhh...

Joe has trouble figuring out the metric system?

I, too, still remember how daunting a task it was to multiply and divide by 10 when I was in 1st grade.

Go soak your head in a 20L bucket, Joe.
Aimin\' to misbehave.

Metric is very simple.

I recently drove around 3000 MILES in the UK. It was a pain constantly reminding oneself that their units of measurement are still imperial, and that

meant MILES an hour...I don't know how many times I got blasted and flashed for going too slow on the motorway.

I just think in meters, centimeters and millimeters.

Imperial doesnt have a smaller unit than an inch..

Not in a Lotus club sport, I wasn't.

Hertz deigned to issue us with a stunningly beautiful, sporty and eyecatching Kia Venga.

Kia?

They are just observing when the car completely disintegrates on the road.

We have a saying about KIAs 7 year warranty..

Drive for 2 years, fight in court for 5 years.

After spending a month and 3000 miles in one, I wouldn't have it as a gift.

It went OK...1.6 turbo. But the handling and gearbox were terrible.
