I've been here less than two days. and I am already sick of it. Five days off for Christmas and then nothing until about the end of March.

But, you get eight and a half months a year of holidays.

Yep... it's moved on to Bricktop now...



our temps have dropped slightly into the lower 30s.

I wish I was there golfing.

And i think that's a comfortable dry heat in Perth.

Yes,... because if it was humid, I'd be dead.



Poor South Australians today (where BT is) have temps as high as 48.... That sounds extremely sickening.

It hit 40 here today. Many a young possum and bird were rehydrated hand to mouth but not all made it.



Tomorrow plunges to the early 20's then the next day heats up beyond 40.  



Animals don't do so well with drastic changes.



We're leaving out water vessels on the property tonight and regularly refilling them.



If they can smell their way and drink on their own, they generally make it. If they drop from the trees and you try to give water to them, it's fifty fifty if they'll make it.
