Beautiful buck! Looks a lot like the one hanging on my wall

I've only taken down 2 deer in my life. Its a very hard decision to pull the trigger on something that looks so magnificent. But then the other part of my brain kicks in and starts hollering "Its yummy venison! Do it!" lol. I've let more live than I've shot at.

Very nice wolf pic too  :smiley_thumbs_up_yellow_ani:

I believe  that's a coyote Blazor.

I wondered, its hard to tell the two apart sometimes, especially the way the fur is. I still think its a wolf lol, because the fur seems thicker. Coyotes the fur is thinner.

Coyotes in Canada  have thick fur.

That is definitely a coyote.

I've seen some big coyotes, but the head always gives them away. No matter how big they get, if you see the head you can tell the difference between a coyote and a wolf.

I remember someone or someones getting decapitated on such a beast a number of years ago. The town I was staying in pretty much lost their road use for 6 weeks minimum every winter and the people relied on their snowmobiles in between to get to the shops. Kids would take their parents machines out at night and fang it across fields as fast as possible without realizing where the wire fences were.

One shallow drift or depression and their necks were slit and heads came off. Still didn't manage to prevent others from trying it on again.
Blahhhhhh...

Odinson

Yes... The fence wire will decapitate you if you slam your neck against it hard enough..

And yes... Everything is dangerous when you are stupid.
