If there's children, maintenance payments are mandatory, but more men are getting custody, so some women are paying monthly child maintenance payments.

Fashionista, of all the divorced men with dependent children I know in Vancouver, none of them has guardianship.

But imho not everything feminists say nor the positions they take is wrong.

Even the most heinous ideology can do good things.



That does not make them any more palatable, when their tyranny, brutality or just plain stupidity far outweighs their virtues.



Such is the case with feminism. It is a hideous socialist movement that feeds on fallacious claims of white male "privilege" and male despotism.



Men have committed some terrible and egregious acts, but they have also created the world we live in, with all its technological wonders, it's rule of law and social harmony. On balance, men have been far more beneficial than detrimental, and deserve gratitude and respect for all the good things they've achieved. Men are also open to change to undo many of the errors of the past.



Feminism offers nothing of value other than misguided, misplaced hatred and sloganism.

Even tho we may disagree on a lot of things, at least I hope you'll admit that moderate feminists who advocate keeping the world population from exploding out of control is a good thing.



In areas of the world where women have no rights those populations are exploding out of control.



And what this translates into are future refugees that many Canadians and citizens of your country don't want.



So not everything about feminism is bad, especially if its the kind which advocates the planet living sustainability within its means.

No. I think Fashionista is one of the few who has not made racist remarks in this forum towards refugees.



But others have. In which case they shouldn't slag a moderate form of feminism which advocates women taking control of their own reproductive systems so they don't pump out so many babies who'll one day become the refugees they don't want trying to enter first world nations



Anyways thats why I disagree with the OP & don't think all feminism is bad.



Perhaps there are extremists among them likw other movements bit there are also sensible ones lije Gloria Steinham who advocate viable real world solutions like family planning and birth control
