tsk... medicare in Australia is paid for by a 3% levy on Tax...

A good thread idea is comparing Canadian and Australian health care plans..

How they are paid for, what they cover, outcomes and anything else that is germane to health care delivery.

Quote from: "@realAzhyaAryola"She could turn out to be one of two things:

1. An empty soul who could let go of her ties to her family and begin to live a life of immorality and reckless abandon and end up as just another statistic who we will never hear from again.

2. Be an inspiration to all, both women and men, who are subjects of a culture that is restrained from expressing themselves and become a beacon of hope to them thus becoming a figure of influence.

At this point, I'm not sure which one she is yet because we know little of her so far.

Or secret option number 3.

She gains citizenship and uses the family reunification law to bring her family in..

That's why Herman and Gaon are cynical about this.

They pull this shit all the time..

Just being a realist.

Agreed.

Flip side being, she wont be able to get away with anything, with being in the spotlight.

Any relatives thinking about coming over will be assessed and reviewed 110%

You would think so. But, our cowardly media might be scared of being labelled racist if they put the spotlight on anything like that down the road.

Nothing racist about doing a simple story on a family being reunited...add all the details to the story, then sit back and watch the public take over.

Make enough noise some one will notice.

They will sweep the thing under the rug.. We will never hear what happened to her unless we resort to alternative media sources.

What seems to have been ignored in this entire debate is WHY a woman would be granted refugee status when fleeing from a family?

What it clearly implies is that the UN recognises the appalling tenets of sharia law that endanger the lives of young Saudi women.

Surely its time the world starting recognising the Saudi Arabia is no less a blight on civilisation's landscape than North Korea.

Oh, it hasn't been forgotten. Like all Islamo-garbage, it's been covered up.

Bricktop

Well, the UN has de facto decreed that Saudi families are a direct threat to the lives of their members.

Hardly the kind of country we should have any relationship with.

I saw that type of Middle Eastern medieval brutality up close and personal when I was in the army. But, upper middle class Muslim eighteen year old daughters do not walk away from their families. She is being used by them to enter Canada.
