Far more effective than simply giving money for the cause .. they have the opportunity to control the flow of information .. enhancing what suits them and killing what does not suit them

Never have the very wealthy had this much control over our lives.

"We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well," Baquet said. "Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story."
