I guess a mask would protect from hands to mouth and nose .. but not eyes

Someone then touches the railing you put your hands on and their contaminated hands carry the germ to their face, their sandwiches, and other surfaces. If you ingest even 1 germ, you will be infected.





If you have the virus and you have a mask on, that mask stops YOUR germs spreading.



And you don't really need a surgical mask,... a scarf is just as good.

There are several other alternatives looking good .. using plasma from people who had it and developed antibodies - it's the antibodies they use to make others immune  .. they have identified the antibody and are testing it  ....



 and there are other drugs .. an aids drug is one .. some used along with this one (zink etc.) and some used alone .. there is now reason for hope and fairly soon
