I looked it up, and at this pace, Alberta will pass Israel in the near future for second doses.

Despite 5,497,150 doses in arms, we are not yet to 50% with 2 doses - mainly as the strategy here (right or wrong) became "get as many one dosed as quickly as possible".



That strategy started after all possible quite elder & Care Homes had 2 shots

Perhaps people, particularly the young don't think it's necessary. Perhaps people think Israel already has herd immunity and they won't catch it. I can only speculate. Seventy percent vaccinated is becoming a difficult goal to reach in Israel.

Or they mean a third dose is required much sooner after the second dose and an annual dose after that.
