Aw right. Alberta is pretty much out of AZ? You will be very well protected with that mix

We saved enough for everyone who had it for 1st dose. It will be interesting to see how many take each option

I see ON is now offering the same option as BC

If someone wants a second dose of AZ, they have to wait. If they will take an mRNA, they can get their second dose sooner.

That's what Alberta is doing..

If someone like me who had an AZ first dose wants AZ for a second dose, we'll have to wait longer than if we get an RNA second dose.

Alberta is shortening the timeline between doses of AstraZeneca to a minimum of eight weeks..

The province says it will follow the advice of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization and allow those who received the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for their first dose to get either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna for the second, or they can get another AstraZeneca vaccine shot.

Yes. Sask sort of stagnated for a bit but last several days is getting back on the downhill express

What is  really dramatic beyond most every country and area falling numbers is that for every fairly well vaccinated country. the death / case rate is falling rapidly

When I scroll spreadsheet back a cpl of months, it's really noticeable and encouraging.

The only outlier is UK which is rising somewhat in cases, but at the same time death rate / case is falling rapidly ... both of which  is consistent with expectations for AZ

Until the death rate explodes due to injections...

Despite increasing cases in UK, there is some important good news

As falling death / case rates go back to beginning, current change in the rate does not show up dramatically.

Thus I created a "last 10 weeks" for all provinces and countries I track  with cases set back a week to partially allow for lag  to capture "current" status in real time and current numbers

UK Opening: While UK case numbers are up since opening up, the last 10 weeks death / case rate is falling rapidly, in fact very noticeable every week (dramatically so) which is of course good news in itself .. but also indicative  of the protection that AZ supplies for decrease in severity of infection

Each 10 week segment shows about 1/4 of deaths / case vs. before AZ indicating that few if any  using AZ are getting very ill & few to none are dying.

That rate is also decreasing noticeably every week. At least now, it's mainly the  cultists who  are being eliminated  while the real people are living.

While I have it on extremely solid sources (basement-made Utube videos) that all will die on a certain date in the future in an explosion that will  echo around the world, .... right now AZ is proving it's test results that it is exceptionally good at severity reduction for those who become infected ... in spades

The UK has a high rate of vaccinations, but it does it have a high percentage of people with two doses?

I believe many do not have shot 2, so are susceptible to variants
