Hungary has fifty six percent of their population with a single dose and only had thirty seven cases yesterday. Israel has sixty two percent vaccinated and they had 304 cases yesterday.



I thought Israel was higher than sixty two percent with a single dose.

I do for Israel. It's fifty seven percent with a second dose. Alberta next door has seventy three percent with a single dose and nearly forty five percent with two doses.

Most of us have made up our minds by now if COVID variants or vaccines pose a greater risk to our health.

You may not know them, but there are still people catching the Delta variant in Canada and the world..



I'm sure they wish they had the immunity that full vaccinations provide.

I'm sure they wish they had the immunity that full vaccinations provide.

Keeping in mind that immunity is "extremely likely" but  not 100,  but .. for the few who do get infected,  symptoms generally are greatly reduced

I read that the Delta variant could be transmitted by simply passing by someone with the virus, even without physical contact.

"Physical contact" was never needed for infection even with the "original" version.



All that was ever needed was physical contact of the airway system with virus particles in the air



Transmission method is the same for all models of it, it's just that less particles are needed for some variants to infect a person = more transmissible
