Small sample, so not settled but all early cases found extremely mild symptoms



Transmission likelihood  "appears" to  be quite high



It does appear to mutate very rapidly which "could"  become more problematic

Florida is now tied for the lowest daily COVID-19 cases per capita in the United States.

Are cases really dropping in Florida?

Dunno. From about the best at rapid reporting and one of the lowest death / case rates in the early days .. on Eastern time they always already had posted when I started collecting several places by the time I got up



Then the hokey claims of low death rate some months ago .. .followed by reporting the poorest of all places for past few months .. currently a week behind along with a hokey daily death rate of 1, 2, 3 etc for about 3 days, then a few hundred deaths every 3 or 4 days when one subtracted  totals (they conveniently left today's deaths column  vacant on those catch up days) sneaky



Last week has been void of updates. I know of no others this erratic and can't help becoming more suspicious as time goes on



Using totals over time (when they do report) the death / case rate is the worse I have ever seen anywhere (currently up to 3 / 100 cases).. and it's been growing in that direction slowly for a few months now .. Calcs are finalized from their own totals when they finally get around to posting new totals



Long story short, their erratic and delayed postings (combined with outright lies on daily deaths) leave one wondering WTF is going on



Despite above, for what it is worth, they have suddenly become low on cases the past week  .. when they get around to reporting ... but the total cases they reported is exactly 3,731,537 for past 6 days = very low new cases .. zero in fact   :001_rolleyes:



BTW - Except for Provinces which are not available there daily, I only use Worldometer for countries & States, the gold standard

Alberta recorded 228 cases today, 253 yesterday and 325 cases on Saturday.

Our reports are slow of late



I have not mentioned it here, but BC's focus in on the absolute disaster of damage due to rainfall  . . with the Mother of all Rainfalls due for a few days from now  as the killer blow



It's no big deal where I am, but the East Fraser Valley & Interior areas are disasters beyond imagination .. with far worse yet to come if forecast holds up .. with effects on transportation, agriculture  and supply of goods to last for months if not years .... and that's not counting the individual specific horrendous problems for so many  individual  residents in the middle of it all
