It is.  I always try to remember how hard people from that era worked, simply to clear a homestead for themselves so they could raise and feed their family.

I actually don't gain much visible muscle/bulk when I work out!  I can get 'toned,' but without roids I would never achieve anything more than that...  No 'bulk.'



I'm built like the guys cutting down the tree in the pic.  They could do that brutally hard work for 10 years, and they would still look like they look.



It's kinda why I posted this this thread in the first place!

I did in my late teens, early 20's, when I was at the peak of my game.  Like I said, I got nicely toned, but my physique didn't permit any real sort of bulking up.  Guys like me would typically use roids if they want that look, which was something that I wasn't interested in doing...
