I caught the neighbour's standard schnauzer yesterday, killed it skinned it and right now it's marinating before we bbq it this afternoon. Can anyone recommend a side dish to serve with it. We're serving hot and spicy bat wings for an appy.

Civet sauce  with yarrow and schaffer grubs.

Yummers!

I'll make a nice pangolin paste for it.

Oh whatever. I'm not a serious poster and I don't take anything on these forums seriously. Likewise, I doubt anybody takes my trolling seriously. Now pull that stick out of ur ass.

Good thing it wasn't a Giant Schnauzer

The Giant Schnauzer is a formidable dog. During the Great War they were used as battlefield couriers by the Germans. They are a tough and aggressive breed. More than a match for the Tin Chank.

If it was a giant that you caught, we would most likely be reading about the "Shen Li Tartare" that the dog would be having for dinner in which case I would recommend a pint of fried rice as a side followed by a bowl of pistachio ice cream... :laugh3:

If you were going to troll you should have picked a more easily managed dog.

Fine, be that way. More Schnauzer for us.

BTW, I amended my post...You could probably eat a standard but you would have to serve it with Saurekraut.

Invite Mel to dinner...Aftward you can sit on his face for dessert.
