Once again, to my observation, the majority of marchers are women.

That one certainly supports it  ... males at front, rear and along outside mainly & not looking too comfortable on the outsides

That is the standard form of organised marches. It often looks like it, but marchers are usually highly organised...especially so on ongoing issues.



On the upside, the better organised marches usually liaise with police to ensure a level of civility and minimal violence. When I was a young policeman, it was commonly understood that most marchers had no desire or intent to engage in disruptive or violent conduct.



However, extremist agitators frequently merged with the generally peaceful majority to instigate and encourage violent behaviour.



As the march started, the extremists would simply integrate quietly and seditiously into the main body, given no hint as to their mission to cause chaos. Often, they would wear suits, and very moderate, everyday clothes. Some even pushed children in strollers.



At some point already pre-planned, an act of "confrontation", frequently staged, would erupt and the extremists would then coerce, compel and urge the marchers to "resist". That's when the fun starts.



The edges of the main march were usually manned by "protectors" and organisers. As much to keep the marchers inline as to protect them from adversaries.

The French are proud of their culture. There is real opposition to wokeness in France.
