I was being deliberately confrontational.

But many, if not most, are selling bullshido to women who want a magical ability to take down a grown man.

The American female scientist Suzanne Eaton was a Taekwondo black belt but she was murdered by a random Greek hillbilly.

Buy a gun.

Fash...martial arts can really help in any given situation, but it comes down to the individual. There is no other person that I would feel save in any violent situation than myself. My training goes beyond military service, martial arts and anti-terrorism operations. The other person I would wholeheartedly trust on any forum is Dinky Dazza. A potential home invader could seriously die a 1000 ways by trespassing on his turf. Bloody oath!

 ac_biggrin

That doesn't tell the whole story..

Martial arts won't protect you against a stranger with a weapon.

We're not all that prepared for a home invader.

I was prepared when I was just a kid. Violence was everyday life for me, thanks to Nelson Mandela and his terrorist regime. There is no excuse for complacency in situation life...even for Canadians.

Hahaha...that's so cute.

My first abode when I was a kid (18) was an abandoned servant's quarters 3m x3m. I chopped out the tree growing through the back window and cut glass to replace the frames. Filled the cracks in the walls, fixed the door, my lock was a bent over nail and I killed 10 venomous snakes between the asbestos corrugated roof and concrete blocks.

The worst thing was that Nelson Mandela's tribe raped and smashed a Zulu woman about 200m away from me against the concrete floor until she was flat as a pancake, they chopped her body into thin slices that could be flushed down the toilet. When the police rocked up (neighbours heard screams) Nelson Mandela's men managed to get her elbow stuck in the s-bend of the toilet and foiled their window of escape.

Yes, I don't rely on the pet dog or an alarm system to ensure the safety of my family xx

Well it's Canada after all. Everyone is so disgustingly polite. Home invaders probably knock before asking permission to come in... :laugh3:

But seriously you really should be prepared for what could happen. I'm not saying own weapons, that probably wouldn't be a good fit for you...But there are plenty of more passive steps you can take to keeping you and your family safe from unwanted guests.

A good start would be by just putting in an invisible fence and a shock collar on Shen Li and let her roam free in your yard.

Buddy...you are cool. But physically, I would rip you apart. Post a pic of any part of your anatomy, and I'll be bigger! That snake pic that I posted was 15 years ago when I wasn't feeding myself and I had a business that cost me a deficit! Lol
