 It gets the gamey flavor out.  I dont really care about the gamey flavor but two of my kids hate it.  



 So if it's a gamey dear ill either brine it or soak it in milk or buttermilk.

Last walk I took to the market, a gang of chickens followed me for a block.

 No idea whose chickens and roosters these are. They didnt belong to the people whose yard they got comfy in. They were just running the streets lol.  I went to touch one and it screamed, almost made my soul leave my body lol.

They do it in my state of Victoria but the deer are pretty big old gnarly things. There are no white tail.... just Sambar, Red, Hog, and Fallow deer... everyone I know is always trying to find new ways of tenderising it... but they're pussies. One must work with the cuts of meat one gets through various heats and cooking styles. Suburban weekend hunters.... arghh... don't get me started....  :oeudC:

Veneers are hit and miss. Hopefully you have a good dentist
