Lokmar

I work for a multi national corporation and most of our products are made in asia where no effective pollution controls exist. Even if you believe in the hoaxology, nothing is being done about it other than making 1st world nations suffer.

I agree Lokmar..

Despite all our sacrifices in Canada, we haven't stopped the climate from changing at all.

It's like punching a tiny hole in the Western nation's jerry cans (fuel/gas/petrol) but not in the dissenting nations'....

The West is eventually empty, the East has a stockpile, and if you believe in the environmentalism hoax.... there is even more disaster.

But the West says it has to do with a largely symbolic act to gain nothing except collapse, death, and destruction of the West.

So this has nothing to do with the environment and never has. It's about control and power between factions seeking to either secure global hegemony or thwart it.
Blahhhhhh...

Even after a search, I still can't find what packets are?

Plastic shopping bags. Lol

That is so stupid..

Stores here stopped using plastic bags..

They are not single use, I used them for garbage and storing things..

So now, instead of using plastic grocery bags I have to buy plastic bags..

It does nothing for the environment, but it takes money away from families.......so dumb.

Most supermarkets already stopped using single use plastic bags, but gave the option of purchasing biodegradable multi-use bags or fabric bags. Fast-food joints and stores still offered plastic bags. Companies have to make the change to biodegradable plastics, which is good for the environment and the right step ahead. We need to start somewhere to make this work for future generations. Reducing emissions effectively will be a major task for sure.

No, they are in fact worse..

Compostable and biodegradable materials also have the potential to contaminate regular waste streams as many consumers don't know how to properly dispose of them. If a biodegradable bag ends up in a recycling bin, for example, it has the potential to contaminate a whole batch of recyclables making them unviable.

Plastic grocery bags in developed countries made sense economically and environmentally..

Depends on the degradable "plastics". My wife's company is using cellulose derived from corn. The waxy outer layer on the kernel.

PS: it's the reason why corn can be present in turds from people that don't masticate their food appropriately. Lol

Honestly it's hard to tell if things are going in the right direction sometimes or it's just a big scam. You could be right, but at least I personally try do good for the planet.

It shits me to tears, but many bush fires are sparked off by juvenile delinquents or smokers flicking their cigarettes into the bush.

I was very close to the fires, and the ash falling down for kilometres looks like snow...that's how bad it was. A creek separated me from the fire, but my neighbours caravan was a goner. The embers blew across the creek and ignited his backyard.

Also the build up of fuel on the forest floor..

We have had forest fires caused by that too.

The greenies influenced Victoria's government nearly two decades ago.... they wanted all bush tracks shut down for recreational campers because we were supposedly "ruining" the environment by going down remote tracks and pitching tents and a fire.

So what did the progressive Victorian government do? They caved and made it illegal to camp on public property without a permit.... and they made little tiny campsites with drop toilets all cramped up against each other full of refuse like shitty toilet paper and plastics melted into every inch of these tiny plots....and at a steep price.... roughly 30-35 bucks per night when you'd get a much cleaner camp at a caravan park or winter showgrounds.

All the places I once went have large native trees intentionally chopped down with newly excavated ditches to prevent even a Jeep rock-climber from getting over them.

But get this.... these were the same fucking tracks which our CFA (volunteer bush fire service) needed to get down.... and suddenly they couldn't. So the canopy floor builds and builds, no campers....no back burning..... no fire fighting when the canopy floor erupts...

Talk about stupid!

To save the environment we have to prevent ourselves from accessing it, even to save the environment.

I hope greenies get rapid colon cancer.... so they can return to the environment asap.
Blahhhhhh...
