Trying to learn the Blender program and honestly having a hell of a time. I keep resorting to my Photoshop knowledge and can't seem to break away from those habits:(.  I guess I'll get there eventually with practice.  I'm feeling a little disheartened tbh :/

I feel ya, its like when I tried GIMP after Photoshop in a way lol. Or going from Quark to InDesign. Or going from GoLive to Dreamweaver

Depends if it's a public toilet or not. I try not to day-shit on account of my OCD and hygiene paranoia. But if I have eaten a vindaloo for example and need to shit quick...it's a case of a standing squat and fuck the consequences if it turns nasty!

I had to watch a basic tutorial on just navigating before i could do anything.

Doh!

Yeah, I should have led with that.

I'm still not 100% comfortable with all that stuff and it doesn't help that I recently had to switch from I believe it was called '3D Mouse Emulation' (Alt+LeftClick-n-Hold) to rotate the view because the key combo interfered with another default keybind for making the row selection of Faces I used to put hair on the monkey head. Now I have to press and hold the middle mouse button which is also my scroll wheel and I'm still trying to get used to it.

I also loaded a sphere and messed around with some of the editing tools and painted it. Really didn't know wtf I was doing, tho.   I rendered something that looked like a floating rainbow booger lolol...  I wish I would have saved it...cuz it was funny AF...imao!

...and if you're playing with UV painting already you've begun learning something I haven't even really messed with at all yet.
