 I'm actually in a black tank top style nightgown that's knee length, I have my hair in a bun on the top of my head and I have a wide light blue head band with a floral design on my head. I have my glasses on. So I'm pretty dorky looking right now.



 And a warming pasty mask that promises to moisturize my skin and put collagen back in it.....but I'm doing this more for the ritual.

In retrospect I can laugh about it because half of that year was basically a silly contest to see which of us could make the other throw in the towel first.



The first and only relationship like that I'll ever have.

I picked up a few handy early deal-breakers from it though, so at least it wasn't a total loss.



These days I just don't even care about any of that.

If I happen to meet someone and it clicks: Shiny!

If I never do then that's cool as well.



I've never been one of those people who *had* to have a relationship or even people around me all the time.

Suppose you could say I'm unusually comfortable with my own company.

I'm not exactly a misanthrope, like totally, but I do regularly get fed up with our entire species and vow not to have anything more to do with those idiotic shaved apes.
