The Biden administration on Friday asked a federal judge to resume the fast-track release of illegal immigrants in a court filing.



In a ruling in Florida v. United States (Case number: 23-cv-9962), U.S. Judge T. Kent Wetherell II, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, issued a temporary restraining order on Thursday night against the Biden administration's new parole policy that would have replaced Title 42, the measure that allowed for the immediate expulsion of illegal border crossers to Mexico during the COVID-19 pandemic.



The policy titled "Policy on Parole with Conditions in Limited Circumstances Prior to the Issuance of a Charging Document" would release the illegal immigrants without a court date.





Instead, the illegal immigrants would schedule an appointment to appear at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility online within 60 days or would get a Notice to Appear (NTA) via mail after being released.



Wetherell also blocked another U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) parole known as "Parole + Alternatives to Detention (ATD)" in a separate case, Florida v. United States (Case number: 21-cv-01066) in early March.



The "Parole + ATD" policy allows CBP to release illegal immigrants into communities after national security and public safety evaluation.





Illegal immigrants who enrolled in the ATD program are subject to supervision, reads the CBP policy memorandum.



In the filing in the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Florida, the Justice Department (DOJ) asked the judge to stay both orders and said they will appeal two rulings by the court by May 15 at the U.S. 11th Circuit Court.

Yea, I dont ever count on them OR the FBI. I had a friend that was harassed and railroaded into a guilty plea by the FBI after the guy they knew did the crime hanged himself. The FBI had so much invested they needed to convict somebody. They harassed this dude for 7 years until he literally didnt have any money left for his attorneys. At that point, it was either start all over with a public defender and risk a shit ton of years or plead guilty and serve 2. He served his 2 so he could get on with life. Fucking absolute bullshit.

Your clue is in the name... Life has to be a long and miserable struggle for them and it should come as no surprise that as they sideline (if not completely wipe out) each Tradition, they find a new one that is "problematic" for them. They have no end goal because an end goal is the polar opposite of everything they believe in.

A Georgia Democratic General Assembly member slammed members of her party recently, accusing them of "lying about their address" to send their own children to better schools while simultaneously rejecting a school choice bill.



Representative Mesha Mainor angered her fellow Democrats when she stood with Republicans in support of Georgia Senate Bill 233, which would have provided $6,500 vouchers to parents with students performing in the bottom 25% in the state. The vouchers could have been used to pay for private school tuition and homeschooling expenses.



"Why is no one fighting for young Black minds? Why isn't that one of the things that we're fighting for?" Mainor told Fox News Digital. "I actually say you're a hypocrite. Special Counsel John Durham released the final version of his report to Congress Monday and condemned the FBI for opening up the investigation into Russian collusion with little evidence.



Durham was tasked with investigating the origins of the probe into allegations of collusion between the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government.



His 300-page report found that the FBI inappropriately sought the investigation dubbed "Crossfire Hurricane."



Durham said the FBI utilized "raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence" to open the investigation into the Trump campaign but did not follow the same standard when approaching alleged election interference in relation to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.



Durham also found that the FBI "did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations" made in the infamous Steele Dossier of lurid accusations against then-candidate Donald Trump.
