Well most movies and remakes even the horror ones have that obligatory gay character to virtue signal their wokeness, (Star Trek, Halloween ect.)  The walking dead kept adding...then killing then adding even more replacement gay characters. Dr. Who also went full wokeness and their ratings went down.
