Quote from: Zetsu on December 13, 2023, 07:57:34 PMThis is the first time in my life to ever be disturbed by solid facts and data... and I'd say an EV will never balance out or reach net zero emission if we take powerplants, battery disposal, and other reasons into account.
That is one car. Idiots like Trudeau think this will replace internal combustion engine vehicles. I don't think so unless progressives are certian they can colonize five more planets and deplete their resources.

Quote from: Zetsu on December 14, 2023, 02:34:52 PMJapanese car companies were smart at first for not buying into the EV garbage.  Though now I heard they're making EVs with solid state batteries in order to compete with Tesla.  :bored:
I think it was the CEO of Toyota who said to put the brakes on the push for EV's.

Quote from: Zetsu on December 14, 2023, 05:10:29 PMYea, I still have it with me as a back up car, lol.  The engine runs like new after 15 years of driving, sadly the car's hybrid battery is losing it's charge despite already been swapped on the 7th year, lol.
That is still nothing to complain about.

Soon, I dom't think Mel will ever return to these micro forums. He might make a guest appearance or two, but I would imagine 4chan is his posting home now.

I like the Japanese's thinking, including their politicians too.

It's a pretty good car, though the condition of the hybrid battery does kind of question EV's reliability.

There is a strong green movement in Japan, but it is pragmatic. Our green movement is controlled by marxists.

They don't last long, but there are more power outages now compared to about twenty years ago.

I bought it in 2008 during the gas crisis, before I was driving my parent's old jeep grand cherokee and couldn't stand paying over $90 each time at the pump, lol.

Even Japan's most right wing government 20 years ago seem more sensible than Justin Trudeau.

I don't mind them much, but being a person that love desktop PCs to upgrading $8000 worth of electronic gadgets on a saltwater fish tank is something I need to consider about, lol.
