Gave the caramelized onion bread another try. Used a lot more poppy seed and garlic chunks on the top of the bread. Roasted toasted garlic works real good on top of this bread the first time, more has to be better....

I have never seen that before. Is it a white bread?

Yes. It does color slightly due to the amount of onions I am using, but is white. Thinking of using wheat flour next time.

Had a breakfast bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich...It was very good.

That would make a tasty sandwich.



Did you do it on the bbq or in the oven?

Definitely oven. Not sure I would want to do on a grill. May use coals on top and bottom of a dutch oven but I will stick to the oven for now. Especially since I don't have a true cast iron dutch oven...

I had some chicken breast I had to use, for the first time, I marinated it in sour cream with garlic and spices...I'm curious how it will turn out?   They will be coated in panko and fried as chicken strips.



I also prepped a twice baked potato last night.  I will also make a salad.



I'm also going to deep fry some cauliflour, pakora style.



Should be an interesting dinner.

My brother made me a steak real similar to this, where the steak went into a bag, and into a pot of water, with some kind of contraption like the one in the video, then seared it in a pan. That was DAMN good steak lol. Never had one made like that before.

I've never tried freezing it, but I can't imagine it would taste right after being warmed up..



I've bought mixes, but I've never made it from scratch.
