Quote from: "@realAzhyaAryola"Yes. I enjoy medium rare.

Most people seem to.

It's the best.  The kid and I shared a steak and crab last night at the Keg.  The steak was med rare.  Anything med or well done just ruins the whole thing.  It makes it dry and easy to choke on.  Nasty.

A steak or roast can be well done and not tough.

I dunno about that.  I've watched people eat their well done steaks and literally chew chew chew.

The only way I can see it being juicy I'd if cooked in crock pot with lots of broth.

When we do steaks they are  always well done..

We only buy steaks with good marbling.

Hmm.  I dont know much about cooking steak.  I dont but it and cook it.  I will only go out and order one.  I prefer they cook it for me.  Medium rare and sometimes rare for me.  We dont have steak very often.

I see Berry..

Any plans for New Years eve?

We're buying a ham tomorrow to cook Christmas eve.

I have no plans for new years.  I dont want to party nor drink.  And I am trying to kick the smoking habit without telling anyone.

I should really buy some crab legs tomorrow.  I wouldnt mind having them for NY eve.  I prefer to say home in pjs, eat crab legs and watch movies...work on some clay projects.

People will most likely text me to come over or stop by to say hi.  That's more than enough for me.

I have some left over salmon in the fridge and I'm in a corn mood...I was thinking of making tacos with them?

Try Salmon Mornay.

Or change a tuna mornay recipe slightly. Add corn kernels at the very end and mix through.

You can use any fish... Tuna is good too... Salmon is the nicest though I think.

Sounds delicious, except the cooked pineapple bit.

We like it.

Fair enough. We only eat firm fleshed semi ripe pineapple in this house, like our nectarines.

Well, there is ONE black sheep who insists on broiled pineapple on their pizza, but they seldom get their way.

Total YUCK!  :negative:

That looks very good Azhya.

Traditional fare today...quite tasty.

Pork roast, black eyed peas, cole slaw, potatoes and dinner rolls. A chocolate chip cookie for dessert.  :wink2:
