We have a propane barbeque, but we don't use it. We have a firepit.

After a week of no power and marginal refrigeration, I made bacon flavoured grilled spam with mashed avocado and lettuce on toast.

They missed items again... 18 bucks worth of spring water.

...and a $3.90 head of lettuce was only the size of a medium grapefruit.

They wrote substituted on the invoice for more bottles of spring water (lesser volume per bottle), but those never arrived either.

Most of the vegetables and fruits are slightly undersized in the last 6 weeks, and besides pre-packs with root vegetables, they're increasingly dictating that you order by quantity instead of weight.

So you order 5 bananas or 5 tomatoes @1.50 - 2.00 apiece but you realistically get half of what you ordered by standard weights/sizes.

It really shits me... because I've done work for this chain before and I understand their setup. They're grabbing the unwanted stuff for online orders that they pick at a major hub, and let the in person shoppers grab the normal sized items first....to not give the appearance of scarcity...

...and there's a lot of scarcity happening.

Place an order online for the first day of the new calendar week on a catalogue meat, fruit, veg super special and get notified immediately that the special is not available in your area.

It's false advertising.

I write a list of any short-changings with every order every fortnight (300-370 AUD), and then take them to task in customer service complaints.

If they refuse me, they're gone... I will shop elsewhere. I know their game.... failing to lodge a complaint is tantamount to facilitating financial rape.
